Making meditation or breath work a daily practice helps to reconnect with the body and also encourages the parasympathetic nervous system to rest and digest and gets you out of fight or flight mode.
It's a wonderful habit to take time during your day to check in on your breathing: how is your breath? Shallow? Pay attention to it for a second, focus on it, close your eyes and take several breaths, maintaining this awareness.
We've teamed up with Province Apothecary to offer a workshop focused on meditation, breathwork and sound therapy in conjunction with their Radiant Reset.
This workshop will be an invitation to connect with our breath to learn how to self soothe the hidden stresses in the mind and body and energetically realign the body through sound. The hour will consist of a mindfulness meditation and release into sound.
Practicing conscious breathing exercise regularly has a profound effect on your body, mind and your skin. It activates your parasympathetic nervous system (rest and relax) and lowers blood pressure, increases respiratory strength and endurance, and improves attention and fine-motor coordination.
We use sound to set an optimal tone for the body to find a state of ease and relaxation to guide the body's energy towards supporting the radiance reset rather than managing the stresses of life.
