We wanted to take a moment to share a few ways we can promote the health of our community
as well as give a little insight on the steps and precautions we take and have incorporated in light of Coronavirus
information is powerful

WHAT YOU CAN DO

  • if you are feeling under the weather – we ask that you stay home and email thelowdown@misfitstudio.com if you need to cancel within 12 hours of class so we can waive your cancellation fee
  • use a tissue, or, if not available, sneeze or cough into your elbow – people, maybe yourself included, are hyper aware of sneezing & coughs right now, AND it's also allergy season – so let's all take part in this to keep everyone feeling protected
  • if you feel called, you're more than welcome to bring your own mat :)
  • practice mindful hand washing – before every meal and pre and post class – make it a real sensory experience
  • use hand sanitizer when you're out and about avoid touching your eyes or mouth – what we practice we strengthen!
  • if you choose to stay home out of precaution, practice the misfitmethod online with MISFITVIDEOS (your first two weeks are free!)

WHAT WE ARE DOING

  • we have removed water cups for the time being to minimize the spread of germs, so please bring your own water bottle
  • we have replaced our hand towels with compostable paper towel in the washrooms
  • we have added alcohol to all cleaning products for mats, props and studio surfaces and we are doubling down on the frequency of cleaning the space
  • we are reducing our class capacity at both studios to create more space between mats, and less congestion during class switchovers
